​Current Exhibit: A CENTURY IN STYLE

Swing by the Anna Bemis Palmer Museum to take a step back in fashion history. You’ll see wedding dresses ranging from 1879 to 1958, purses, hats, shoes, and much more. 

The museum is also thrilled to partner with York University and York High School to show off some of their historical fashion items. 

This exhibit will run from April 15th to August 1st, 2025. Admission is free.

The History of York County Exhibition!

The History of York County exhibit ran from September 7th – February 28th, 2025.  A few items featured in this display are:

• C.S. Harrison’s 1865 bible from Arborville
• Class D 1970-71 State Champions basketball team items from Benedict
• Photos from the aftermath of the 1890 tornado in Bradshaw
• Adobe brick from Regier homestead in Henderson
• Apron from the Monarch Cement Company in Lushton
• Photos of Dave Erb, Kentucky Derby winner from Charleston
• Side-by-Side photos of old and new downtown York
• A section of the Blue River Bank counter from McCool
• Photo of Hidden Valley Ranch inventor Steve Henson from Thayer
• Collection of WW1 items from Gresham
• Baseball relics from Waco
